Overview

This privacy notice explains how hobby-dice-fairness-audit.hub2.day (the "Site"), which operates the Dice Fairness Audit tool, handles information when you visit and use the Site. The tool lets you enter the results of rolls made with your own dice and see a plain statistical explanation of whether the pattern looks fair or unusual. We have tried to keep data handling minimal.

Information You Enter Into the Tool

The roll results you type into the calculator are processed in your browser. Under normal use they are not transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with anyone. If the browser stores your inputs temporarily (for example, to keep them on the page while you work), that data stays on your device and can be cleared by clearing your browser's site data or by resetting the tool.

Contact Emails

If you write to us at hello@hobby-dice-fairness-audit.hub2.day, we receive your email address and whatever content you include. We use this information only to respond to your message, resolve the issue you raised, or improve the Site. We do not add contact emails to marketing lists.

Server and Security Logs

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and referring address. These logs help us keep the Site available, diagnose errors, and detect abuse or security threats. Log data is kept only as long as needed for these purposes, typically for a limited rolling period, and then deleted or aggregated.

Cookies and Local Storage

The Site may use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions, such as remembering a consent choice or keeping the page working correctly. Advertising partners, described below, may also set cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how certain features or ads behave, but the core calculator should continue to work.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This Site displays advertising served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure performance, limit how often you see a given ad, and, where permitted, show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of data is described in its privacy policy at Google's partner sites policy. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings, and you can learn more about advertising cookies at aboutads.info.

Consent for Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we request consent before setting non-essential cookies or enabling personalized advertising. You may accept or decline these choices and change your decision later through the consent controls on the Site or your browser settings. Where consent is withdrawn, we will stop relying on it for future processing. The legal bases we rely on include consent for advertising cookies, legitimate interests for security and basic site operation, and compliance with legal obligations where relevant.

Your Rights Under GDPR and UK GDPR

If these laws apply to you, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal data we hold about you, and the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@hobby-dice-fairness-audit.hub2.day.

Your Choices Under U.S. State Privacy Laws

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, may have rights to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Advertising partners may use cookies in ways that some laws treat as sharing. You can opt out of personalized advertising through the consent controls on the Site where offered, through Google Ad Settings, or through your browser. To make a request, email hello@hobby-dice-fairness-audit.hub2.day. We will verify your request before acting on it and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Service Providers

We rely on hosting providers, content delivery networks, and advertising providers such as Google to operate the Site. These providers process information on our behalf or in their own right under their own policies, as described above. We do not give them more data than is needed to provide their service.

Data Retention

Roll data entered into the calculator is not retained by us. Contact emails are kept only while needed to respond to you and resolve the matter, and then deleted unless we are required to keep them longer. Server and security logs are retained for a limited period and then removed. Advertising-related data is governed by the retention practices of the advertising provider.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for general audiences, including tabletop and dice-game players of all ages, but it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a contact email, please write to hello@hobby-dice-fairness-audit.hub2.day and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Site and the limited information it handles, including encrypted connections where supported. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to other websites, such as dice retailers, rules references, or Google resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review their policies before providing them with any information.

International Processing

The Site is operated from and may be hosted in countries outside your own, and advertising providers may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, including those provided by the advertising providers themselves.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
